We stormed the Rankin Aquatic Center today with 18 kids, a handful of adults, and one wee infant. This place is the best! Rushton was so worn out that he fell asleep at 6 pm half hanging off his bed.

Cub Scout Day Camp is in the books! A whole week of archery, arts & crafts, building stuff with wood, shooting guns, bounce houses, sunshine, airplanes, rockets, and snow cones. And this was the only photo I got… Such a fun week for the boys!

Wednesday’s crawdad fishing adventure was an exercise in not freaking out from grossness. Logan was all over the place, barefoot, putting soggy fishing sticks in his mouth… But Rush was the one who fell in the stream. I wish I could have caught his look of disgust on camera! It was priceless.

Rushton got to spend the weekend with some friends up at their cabin – lucky kid! I’m pretty sure he only wore his swimsuit the entire weekend. Man, it’s good to be a kid.
