Jackson and Hailey made oodles of flubber. Time to restock my supply of glue!

Making waffles, playing trains, building shelves, playing basketball and baseball, constructing an epic blanket fort, and twin babies being exceptionally cute – just a few of the things we did with cousins last weekend while their parents were off traveling and eating not-chicken-nuggets.

Cousin sleepover! Down at 8:30 pm, up at 6 pm (thanks to Logan for the early wake-up call). Not bad for 5 little bugs in a rug!

Herding a gaggle of children through the emerald hills with @melpat511 and @taracrawford.

We didn’t find any frogs, but we also didn’t get rained on, lose Logan, or get bitten by any ticks or rattle snakes. That’s a win in my book!

While in Utah, we visited my college friend who basically moved off-grid a few years ago – she and her husband built every road and structure on their property. It was incredible to see what they have done with their hard work, creativity, and building skills! Logan can’t stop talking about “Zack’s house” and all the “behicles”, Hailey loved every second with the big sisters and their Heaven Jam (raspberry freezer jam), and Rushton wishes he could have 6 dogs and 3 cats, too. I am in awe of @katehulet and the life she and her family have built out in the “wilderness” as my kids call it. 30 minutes bumping down a dirt road, through a puddle/pond, chasing the sunset, and I’d agree with that description. :) We can’t wait to come back!

Oh you know, just chopping down trees with a machete in the wilderness. As you do.
