This cutie pie has been begging for a Mommy-Hailey date for a while and today was the day – @yallamedi for lunch, @asweetaffairbakery for sweets, and then @target because it was too hot to look for turtles in the pond. She is such a sweetheart and the one-on-one version of her was so fun!

Last night Rushton swam in the Middle Age Madness meet for swimmers 9-14 years old, and the last race was a relay with parts to a suit of armor. It was so fun!

This little cutie wanted nothing to do with the water, so we spent the afternoon poolside, chewing on pool toys and working on our selfie game.

Spending this 100-degree afternoon eating her weight in strawberries on the porch in the shade. And mustering up the courage to go melt in the ️ at Rushton’s baseball game this evening.

Summer is in full force around here – art projects, boredom buster lists, library reading program, games, treats at the pool, chores, free bowling, swim meets… each day seems so long but summer is already going by way too fast!

Logan found these cute library books with beards and hats (and another with masks) and they’ve provided hours of laughs! Or maybe just minutes.
