We finally checked off a bucket list item today and explored the Sutro Baths ruins. It was such a beautiful San Francisco day!

While Jake and I went mountain biking with his brothers, Grandma and Grandpa took the kids on the gondola to the top of Mammoth Mountain! They saw snow, found a mammoth, played at the nature center, and were nearly blown over by the wind.

Vacation definitely takes its toll on the kids. While Hailey miraculously didn’t barf on the bus ride down from Devil’s Post Pile, she quietly moaned and grimaced almost the entire 45-minute drive (or was it 45 days? I can’t remember). Bless the woman and daughter who gave up their seats so we weren’t standing the whole time!

No matter how freezing the water is, these kids just can’t help themselves from getting in. ️

Mammoth Lakes was made for biking, and thanks to my sister Laura for lending me her road bike for the summer, I got to try out cycling for the first time here! I won’t say that I loved it, but I didn’t hate it the entire time either.

My poor kids got the wrong mom when it comes to pets. They love dogs sooooooo much, and I just don’t! 🏼♀️ This dog hung around our picnic at the lake and they smothered him with hugs and love.

Rushton seemed like such a big kid this trip – biking with Grandpa, tricks in the pool and video games with the uncles, movies with the grown-ups… It was such a fun trip for him!

Hailey was so excited to be in the drivers seat of the fire truck – she put on the headset and repeated, “This is Hailey, reporting for duty!”
