If my vacation posts are getting tiresome, you’re in luck! We departed this morning amid pouring rain. I can’t wait to snuggle my kids in the morning, but this little happy dance is how I’ll always remember Mexico.
The chocolate trifecta: Deep Chocolate ice cream, Sipping Chocolate (melted dark chocolate) and Traditional Chocolate (melted dark chocolate mixed with milk and cinnamon). I couldn’t leave Mexico without trying their Mayan cocoa, and I’m indecisive, and I’m a Bain, so I got them all! #chocolateolympian (Disclaimer: I couldn’t finish it all, even after going to 7-Eleven mid-meal to get cold water and salty chips. Also, Jake wanted nothing to do with any of my chocolate. #notabain)
Riding down the coast with my love on a scooter to go snorkeling among coral reef as the sun was setting in Cozumel was absolute perfection. I never want to forget today.
We had a slow morning in because Jake had homework before class tonight, so after a nap and catching some sunshine on the rooftop pool deck (just me), we had lunch at the best little seafood taqueria and then walked allll the way down Avenida Quinta to catch the ferry to Cozumel. The clouds, the water, and the coastlines were beyond picturesque! I could get used to this tropical paradise.
