When Logan actually slows down, this little Master Builder can be found making a Hot Wheels mansion out of magnet tiles, or a moving van out of LEGOs, or a swimming pool out of DUPLOs, or drawing tanks or sea creatures. His creativity blows me away! I love the quiet time we get after the big kids leave for school and before Logan starts.
My sister’s kids are on spring break this week, so they came to our super exciting house for the day! They played with all our toys inside and outside, dined at Chick-Fil-A, and cheered Logan on at his baseball game. We love being close enough to do stuff with @cecilieblee‘s busy little bees!
It took all day, but I did it! And then Rushton accidentally dumped an entire pitcher of water all over the set table seconds before we sat down to eat. Oh well. This is mostly what Easter dinner looked like growing up—ham, cheesy potatoes, Sarah’s Salad, jello, deviled eggs… My rolls didn’t rise but we had the most delectable chocolate truffle cookies for dessert. And now I need to wash my third double-sink-full of dishes for the day, but first, Game of Thrones. ⚔️️ #thethingswedoforlove
The ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan were fascinating, and there‘s still so much of the city that archaeologists haven’t even excavated yet! We climbed stairs until our legs felt like jello. Our visit happened to perfectly coincide with the morning’s hot air balloon launch.
