That time we hiked to Delicate Arch and no one even fell to their death! Phew. (I also caught Rush and Hailey holding hands for sketchy stretch of trail. ️)
While I was inside a bike shop getting some long-overdue comfy buns, Jake got the kids push pops. He’s definitely the fun parent!

Look who finally showed up in Moab! Love these cute bikers.
Jake and I took one more grown-up ride before Grandma and Grandpa Spurlock arrived with our kids on Thursday afternoon. The Ramblin’ trail at Navajo Rocks had lots of technical drops (for me, at least), steep slickrock, COWS, sand, so much uphill (which made for some epic downhill), some flowy singletrack, and breathtaking scenery! I lost my ground in a sand pit on a tight turn and fell into a dried up cactus. Still, it was pretty glorious. Thanks a million times to Jake’s parents for keeping the kids so we could go to Moab a day early!
The terrain out here is otherworldly. I wish Moab weren’t so far from home so we could visit more often!
