With someone having soccer practice 4 out of 5 weeknights, we spend a LOT of time at the field. Tonight, we brought a friend and some Cheetos and watched the sun sink behind the golden hills as Hailey did her soccer thang.
Rush couldn’t stop thinking about mini golf after riding past this place on his bike earlier, so we played a round on our way out of Tahoe. We have LOTS of room to improve our golf game, but it was so fun!
I’m not sure why we don’t spend ALL of our weekends at Lake Tahoe.
The Truckee bike park was so rad! We arrived right as the sprinklers turned on the track, but the slipping and sliding didn’t slow anyone down. So many features and courses for all skill levels. My favorite part was the dual slalom. I think Hailey’s favorite part was course maintenance.
After Saturday’s soccer games, we raced up to Truckee to join Jake and Rush in this perfect little campsite. Finished out the night with sticky s’mores and glow sticks!
Hailey almost always puts up a fight, but she LOVES soccer once we get there. (WHY the theatrics??) She was really nervous about playing with a goalie, but when she realized that goalies don’t have to run as much, she was all in! #smartgirl
Soccer Saturdays are back! I love watching Logan play—he has the biggest smile, is fearless going after the ball, and has great control. Go Black Knights!
These two have all the fun. ♂️
Hailey and Logan played harrrrrrd for almost 3 hours straight during our school’s Welcome Back Picnic while I sold hot dogs and counted change. When we got home, Logan told me I looked tired and offered to snuggle with me. He was sweaty and filthy, but I couldn’t refuse such a sweet offer! #justnotinmybedplease
Logan doesn’t go to school until 10 am, so we spend our mornings doing chores, crafting, puzzles, exercising, reading, and asking how many more minutes until school starts. Here he’s making a light saber. ️️♀️
