Hailey’s 3rd grade heritage project involved learning about an ancestor and creating an ofrenda to honor him/her for El Dia de los Muertos. Hailey chose my dad’s mother, Anne Bain, who died a month before Hailey was born. Grandma Bain was such a special lady and I loved teaching Hailey all about her!

My zombie, Mal, and LEGO Emmett collected 20 lbs of candy this Halloween. Also, they were super excited to go trick or treating with NOT me or Jake. #ithoughtiwascool
