I have gone through over 35 pounds of sugar in the last 2 weeks! Multiple batches of lemon curd and passion fruit curd lead to extra egg whites, which lead to 3 batches of macarons and about 427 rounds of dirtying ALL.THE.DISHES and then washing them again. I’m also helping Logan’s class make rock candy for the science fair (26 kids plus 1 teacher), and half of the jars didn’t work so I made another round of sugary syrup. And of course I had to make a few for my family! Time to get out of the kitchen and into the gorgeous California spring sunshine. ️
