I’ve waxed poetic about my neighborhood before, but seriously this time! Some people created a neighborhood rock hunt—painted rocks with specific colors and symbols, distributed them to front yards around the neighborhood, and promised a mailbox surprise when anyone finds all the symbols on the rocks and deciphers the coded message. Such a fun way to get us outside and feel connected without actually touching anything or being in anyone’s presence!
This kid. Logan doesn’t particularly care for me as his teacher, but he loves me dearly most of the rest of the time, and he tells me so and hugs me all day long. He also loves this clock and carries it with him at least half the day and sleeps with it at night. When he’s not ordering Alexa to set timers, he’s calculating the minutes until something on this clock.
