Redundant, I think not… After going climbing with the scouts last week, I really wanted to go climbing again. So, I borrowed some gear from Nick Turner of Epic Adventure Gear and Ryan and Josh and I headed up to Rock Canyon to go climbing again.
I’ll be honest, I had a blast. It is super lame that picking up a new hobby always has to entail dropping around $500 just to get to get going. Going to start saving my pennies for some gear of my own… 😉
I’ve always wanted to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Pointe, and we finally made it there this year on our anniversary. It was a perfect spring day to be outside – warm, breezy, sunny, and full of flowers. (NO MORE SNOW, UTAH. Understand??) And to add to the perfectness of the outing, we went with our friends, the Wintertons.
Here’s what Rushton thought of the day at first.
Then after seeing all of this, his attitude changed a bit. I can hardly believe places like this even exist, especially less than 10 miles from my house! Must be what heaven looks like.

Ta-da! I present to you the new blog. Currently it’s a work in progress – I still have some tweaks to make and things to add. I know, no big flashing lights or anything, but I like it better than any of the stock WordPress themes that were available for the old blog. And you probably already noticed, but we moved everything from the old blog to the new blog, so basically this is just the new and improved version. Enjoy!
