INGREDIENTS
- 1 onion chopped
- 6 carrots sliced
- 6-7 large potatoes, cubed
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 pint half & half
- 1 pint milk
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 16 oz. jar cheese whiz
DIRECTIONS
Salt & pepper to taste. Cover veggies in water-just. Cover & bring to a boil, simmer for 20 min. Don’t drain water. Melt margarine in another pan – add flour, stir until smooth. Slowly add milk and ½ & ½. Stir until thick & smooth. Add jar of cheese whiz. Pour mixture into veggies. Stir, then season w/salt, pepper, sugar if desired.
